Nine Fruits Exports has been exporting apples, citrus, pears, stone fruit, grapes & blueberries for 7 years. Our local and international customers benefit from years of experience and our understanding of timely order processing to meet their demands.
We work closely with a major shipping lines and logistics service providers to ensure timely delivery to all major destinations.
At Nine Fruits Exports, apples, citrus and pears are always in season. We grow, pack and distribute a wide range of apples, citrus and pears, uniquely South African in taste and texture.
At Nine Fruits Exports its not a matter of merely supplying withing the limits of the fruit we have available, but rather fulfilling the specific needs and demands of our customers.
Our optical pre-sorted can sort roughly 360 tonnes of fruit per day, sorting each apple according to weight or size, colour and cosmetic quality specification.
Nine Fruits Exports operates a combination of traditional and state-of-the-art optical grading lines at our packing facilities, processing an average of 200 tonnes and a maximum of around 500 tonnes of fruit per day. We offer countless combinations of cultivar, size, grade and unique packaging types to ensure our customers have a wide selection of baskets to fill.
Optimal storage conditions are crucial for ensuring high internal quality and freshness as well as meeting year-round consumer demand. We store our fruit on-site and off in 96 controlled atmosphere (CA) refrigeration rooms with a capacity of 115 000 bulk bins.
Once the packaged fruit comes from each of our packing lines, we can force-cool 660 pallets in PPECB-accredited sterilisation cooling tunnels, and store up to 3000 pallets destined for dispatch in two rooms equipped with mobile racking.
